Die Cut stickers are cut all the way through both the vinyl and the paper backing, so each sticker comes out as an individual piece in the exact shape of your design — perfect for handouts, packaging inserts, and standalone branding stickers. Kiss Cut stickers are cut only through the top vinyl layer, leaving the paper backing intact with a square or rectangular border around the design. This makes them easier to peel, ideal for delicate or intricate designs, and great for product packaging where you need extra space for branding around the sticker. We offer both at Captain Printing — same price, same premium vinyl. Once peeled and applied, both look identical.

We print stickers in four standard shapes plus fully custom: Round (circle), Square, Rectangular, and Die Cut (any custom shape). Round and square stickers are the most popular for logos and product labels. Rectangular works well for descriptive labels and packaging. Die Cut is the choice when your design has an irregular shape — a mascot, a custom illustration, or a logo that breaks out of standard formats. Yes. All our vinyl stickers — standard, holographic, glitter, and reflective — are waterproof, UV-resistant, and scratch-proof thanks to our premium vinyl base and clear protective laminate. They withstand rain, sun, dishwashers, water bottles, and Florida humidity. Outdoor lifespan is 3-5 years for standard vinyl with laminate, and 2-3 years for specialty materials (holographic, glitter, reflective) depending on direct sun exposure.

These three specialty materials are often confused but have very different effects:

• Holographic has a smooth surface with a rainbow iridescent shift — colors change as you move it. Best for tech brands, music merch, fashion, and designs that need a futuristic, premium feel.
• Glitter has a textured surface with embedded glitter flakes that sparkle from every angle. Best for cosmetics, beauty brands, party favors, kids’ products, and playful branding.
• Reflective has a smooth, single-color surface that lights up brightly when hit by direct light (like a car headlight). Best for safety stickers, helmets, bicycles, commercial vehicles, construction gear, and any application where night visibility matters.

If you want maximum visual impact during the day, choose holographic or glitter. If you need to be seen at night, choose reflective.

It depends on the look you want:

• Glossy has a shiny, reflective surface that makes colors pop and look saturated. It’s the classic sticker finish, ideal for vibrant designs, photography, illustrations, and high-impact branding.
• Matte has a flat, non-reflective surface that looks elegant and sophisticated. It’s preferred for premium product packaging, minimalist branding, and designs where you want text and details to read clearly without glare.

Matte also hides fingerprints and scratches better than glossy. Both finishes are equally durable.

For best results, send a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF, or SVG) in CMYK color mode with 1/8″ bleed on all sides and a clear cut path (for die cut). If you only have raster files (JPG, PNG), they should be at least 300 DPI at the final print size. Make sure all text is outlined and all images are embedded.

Yes. Orders placed before 10:00 AM EST with print-ready files qualify for same-day production with local pickup at our Opa-locka facility (13680 NW 19th Ave, Unit 1B, Opa-Locka, FL 33054). Standard production for stickers is 1-3 business days depending on quantity and material. Specialty materials (holographic, glitter, reflective) may add 1 day. We ship nationwide with free shipping on orders over $75.

Our vinyl stickers adhere to virtually any clean, smooth, dry surface: laptops, water bottles, phone cases, car windows and bumpers, helmets, skateboards, packaging boxes, refrigerators, glass storefronts, motorcycles, coolers, tool boxes, and outdoor signs. They peel cleanly without leaving residue when removed within the first 6-12 months.

Lifespan estimates:

• Indoor use: 5-7+ years (all materials)
• Outdoor with laminate (standard vinyl): 3-5 years
• Outdoor specialty materials (holo/glitter/reflective): 2-3 years
• Dishwasher / high-friction surfaces: 1-2 years

For maximum lifespan, apply to a clean surface free of oil, dust, or moisture, and press firmly from center outward to remove air bubbles.
