What File Types Are Accepted For Artwork?

We accept PNG and PDF files for DTF transfers (PNG with a transparent background). For UV DTF stickers we also accept AI, PSD and EPS in addition to PNG and PDF. We recommend files be a minimum of 300 dpi to ensure high-quality printing.

What Are The Instructions For Applying DTF Transfers With A Heat Press?

Set the temperature to 307°F (153°C) with medium-high pressure. Position the transfer in the desired location on the garment. First press: Press for 12 seconds. Peel: Let the film cool completely and peel cold. Second press: Press again for 12 seconds for added durability.

How Should I Care For Garments With DTF Transfers?

Wash inside out with cold water. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners. Air dry or tumble dry on low. If ironing is necessary, do so on the reverse side or place a cloth between the iron and the design.

How Can I Ensure My Design Is Suitable For DTF Printing?

For best results, upload high-resolution files (minimum 300 dpi) in PNG or PDF format with a transparent background. Our team can advise on any additional adjustments or requirements.

TPU patches go far beyond standard full-color printing. We offer a wide range of finishes, textures, and construction methods that make your patches stand out from anything produced via DTF or embroidery.

All finishes are available on any size and shape. Mix finishes across different patches on the same gang sheet.

What finishes are available?

Glossy (standard), Matte, Metallic Gold/Silver (PMS screen-printed), Iridescent (shift-color), 2D flat plate, 3D raised plate via high-frequency moulding, Smooth surface, and Textured (flat or irregular slanted 3D). Pantone and CMYK color matching available for all finishes.

What is the difference between 2D and 3D patches?

2D patches are flat — your design is printed directly on the TPU film with a clean, smooth surface. 3D patches use high-frequency moulding to create raised plate details that literally stand above the surface, giving a premium tactile feel. 3D is popular for brand logos, sports team patches, and luxury apparel.

How do metallic finishes work?

Metallic patches are screen or 4-color UV-printed using precise PMS Pantone colors, including metallic gold and silver. The metallic effect is built into the ink itself — not a foil overlay. This produces a premium reflective finish that holds up through 100+ washes without fading or peeling.

Can you match my exact brand colors?

Yes. Provide your Pantone (PMS) or CMYK codes in the order notes and our team will match them precisely. This is standard practice for corporate uniforms, sports teams, and brand licensing requirements. No extra charge for Pantone matching.

Can I get a custom shape?

Any shape — circles, shields, animals, complex brand icons, custom contours. There are no restrictions on die-cut shapes. Just ensure your file has a transparent background showing the exact shape you want. Maximum size is 22″ wide.
