What File Types Are Accepted For Artwork?

We accept PNG and PDF files for DTF transfers (PNG with a transparent background). For UV DTF stickers we also accept AI, PSD and EPS in addition to PNG and PDF. We recommend files be a minimum of 300 dpi to ensure high-quality printing.

What Are The Instructions For Applying DTF Transfers With A Heat Press?

Set the temperature to 307°F (153°C) with medium-high pressure. Position the transfer in the desired location on the garment. First press: Press for 12 seconds. Peel: Let the film cool completely and peel cold. Second press: Press again for 12 seconds for added durability.

How Should I Care For Garments With DTF Transfers?

Wash inside out with cold water. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners. Air dry or tumble dry on low. If ironing is necessary, do so on the reverse side or place a cloth between the iron and the design.

How do I apply a TPU patch with a heat press?

1. Pre-heat your press to 320°F (160°C). 2. Position the patch face-up on your garment in the desired location. 3. Cover with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper. 4. Press with medium to firm pressure for 15 seconds. 5. Allow to cool 10 seconds. 6. Peel the carrier film slowly. 7. Re-press for 5 seconds with parchment paper for maximum adhesion and durability.

Can I use a regular household iron?

A household iron can work but results will be less consistent than a heat press due to uneven pressure and temperature. If using an iron, set it to the cotton/linen setting (no steam), press firmly for 20–25 seconds using circular motion, and re-press from the reverse side. For best results and maximum durability, use a heat press.

How do I care for garments with TPU patches?

Wash the garment inside out with cold water. Tumble dry low or air dry. No bleach, no fabric softener. Do not iron directly on the patch surface — if ironing is needed, turn inside out or place a cloth between the iron and the patch. TPU patches are rated for 100+ washes when applied correctly.

My patch is not sticking properly — what went wrong?

Most adhesion failures are caused by: (1) temperature too low — increase by 10°F increments; (2) pressure too light — lean into the press with full body weight; (3) moisture in the fabric — do a quick 3-second pre-press before applying the patch; (4) synthetic fabric — polyester and performance fabrics require slightly higher temp (330°F).
