Apply in 5 easy steps
UV DTF stickers go on any hard, smooth surface. Follow these
steps for a perfect, bubble-free result every time.
PREPARATION
Wipe down your cup, tumbler, bottle, or hard surface with rubbing alcohol or a clean dry cloth. Remove any dust, oils, or moisture. A clean surface = a permanent bond. Skip this and you’ll get lifting edges.
- Use 70% isopropyl alcohol for best results
- Wait 30 seconds after cleaning before applying
- Works on glass, stainless steel, plastic, acrylic
PEEL
Carefully peel the clear transfer film away from the backing paper. The design will stick to the clear film — that’s normal. Start from a corner and peel slowly at a low angle to avoid tearing fine details.
- Peel slowly at a 15-30° angle
- If design stays on backing, press film back down and try again
- Hold by edges - avoid touching the adhesive side
POSITION
Hold the transfer film over your surface and align the design exactly where you want it before making contact. Once it touches the surface it will start to bond – take your time on this step.
- Work in good lighting to see the alignment clearly
- For curved surfaces, apply from center outward
- Use a hinge method: tape one edge, flip and check position
APPLY
Once positioned, press the sticker down firmly from the center outward using your fingertip, a credit card, or a squeegee. Apply firm, even pressure for 20-30 seconds across the entire design – including the edges. This activates the adhesive.
- Use a credit card for maximum adhesion on flat surfaces
- Press from center to edges - pushes air bubbles out
- Pay extra attention to fine detail edges and tips
DONE!
Slowly peel the clear transfer film away at a sharp angle (90°+) while keeping the design pressed against the surface with your other hand. The UV DTF design stays on your product – the clear film comes off clean. You’re done.
- Peel at 90° or greater - back over itself
- If design lifts, press back down and wait 2 more minutes
- Wait 24 hours before putting in dishwasher

Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email with tracking information. You can also log into your account on our website to check your order status.
For DTF transfers we accept PNG and PDF files only (PNG with a transparent background). For UV DTF stickers we also accept AI, PSD and EPS in addition to PNG and PDF. We recommend files be a minimum of 300 dpi to ensure high-quality printing.
- Set the temperature to 307°F (153°C) with medium-high pressure.
- Position the transfer in the desired location on the garment.
- First press: Press for 12 seconds.
- Peel: Let the film cool down completely and peel cold.
Second press: Press again for 12 seconds for added durability.
- Wash inside out with cold water.
- Avoid bleach or fabric softeners.
- Air dry or tumble dry on low.
- If ironing is necessary, do so on the reverse side or place a cloth between the iron and the design.
For best results, upload high-resolution files (minimum 300 dpi) in PNG or PDF format with a transparent background. Our team can advise on any additional adjustments or requirements.
