Custom TPU Patches in Miami — Same-Day UV Printing, No Minimums

All three are 3D rubber-look patches, but the materials behave differently:

• TPU — thinner, lighter, eco-friendly (phthalate-free), excellent flexibility and abrasion resistance. Best for performance apparel and modern branding.
• PVC — thicker, stiffer, higher upfront mold cost. Long-time industry standard but heavier on the garment.
• Silicone — softest of the three, slightly stretchier, premium feel. Often used for ultra-curved hat panels.

For most hat, uniform, and apparel projects, TPU offers the best balance of durability, modern appearance, comfort, and price.

TPU patches work great on most heat-tolerant fabrics. Recommended applications:

Best fabric matches: cotton, polyester, twill, denim, canvas, and most blends.

Use caution with nylon and waterproof-coated fabrics — these may need a sew-on or velcro backing instead of heat seal. Send us a sample and we’ll test it before production.

We accept vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) and high-resolution images (PNG or TIFF with a transparent background). We recommend files be a minimum of 300 dpi to ensure high-quality printing.

TPU patches are typically applied with a heat press, but iron-on application is possible on heat-tolerant fabrics like cotton and polyester.

Recommended heat press settings:

• Temperature: 275–305°F (135–150°C)
• Pressure: medium-high (around 60–80 PSI)
• Time: 12–20 seconds
• Use a Teflon or silicone cover sheet to protect the patch surface
• Let cool completely before removing the carrier film

Yes — TPU patches are highly wash-resistant when applied correctly. Properly heat-pressed TPU patches typically survive 50+ wash cycles without cracking, peeling, or fading.

For maximum lifespan:

• Wash inside-out with cold or warm water (max 105°F / 40°C)
• Use mild detergent — no chlorine bleach
• Tumble dry on low or air dry
• Avoid ironing directly over the patch surface

TPU is also waterproof, UV-resistant, and stands up to sweat, rain, and Florida humidity — perfect for Miami’s climate.

• Velcro / hook & loop — interchangeable patches for tactical gear, jackets, and morale patches. Add ~$0.90/pc.
• Sew-on (textile backing) — for thick fabrics like denim, leather, or where heat application isn’t possible.
• 3M adhesive (peel & stick) — temporary application for events, trade shows, hard surfaces, or when stitching/heat aren’t options.

Raster files also accepted — PNG or JPG at minimum 300 DPI at final patch size, with transparent background preferred for PNG.

Design tips for best results:

• Minimum line width: 0.6–0.8 mm (about 1/32″)
• Minimum gap between elements: 0.5 mm
• Avoid ultra-thin text or fine details under 4 pt
• Include exact Pantone codes for brand colors if needed
